Recently, India has got the first Silver Notice issued from Interpol.

This notice has been issued against a former French embassy official, Shubham Shokan, in a visa fraud case. Let us tell you that earlier, Interpol did not issue such a notice on the request of any member country. The Interpol Silver Notice was launched in 2023 as part of a pilot phase running until 2025, following consultations during the 2022 United Nations (UN) General Assembly.
