After completing my largest commissions, I couldn’t hear my creative voice anymore. So I took an art sabbatical in the desert foothills in San Diego to reset, listen, and reconnect with my intuition.
In this video, I share what creative burnout feels like as a working artist, how nature helped me slow down, and how tracing shadows became the beginning of a new art series inspired by Jungian psychology concepts.
If you’re a creative, artist, or someone navigating a season of uncertainty, this is an invitation to stop forcing and start listening.
✨ In this video:
– What an art sabbatical actually looks like
– Signs of creative burnout
– How rest shapes the creative process
– Using shadow work in art
– The early stages of a new series
If this resonates, subscribe for reflections on art practice, intuitive creativity, psychology, and building a life around meaningful work.
