A lot of games come and go, but some RPGs are the ones I always find myself coming back to. These are not the best RPGs ever made or some objective top ten list. This is a ranking of the RPGs I will actually be replaying in 2026 and why they still hold up years later.
Replayability, world design, mod support, and how a game feels to return to all matter more to me than launch hype or first impressions. These are the games I can pick up again and lose myself in without forcing it.
