Описание:
3 days and 2 nights backpacking trip to Mt. Albert Edward. Camping at Circlet Lake both nights.
This hike is part of Strathcona Provincial Park on Vancouver Island BC.
Backcountry reservations are necessary to camp here (on BC parks website) but the tent pads are first come first serve.
The scenery is spectacular here, both at camp and at the summit of Mt. Albert Edward.
There are multiple lakes to camp at but Circlet Lake has the most tent pads and also is closest to the Mt. Albert Edward trailhead, so this is why we chose to camp here. No problem getting a tent pad even on the August long weekend.
Trailhead to camp starts up at Mt. Washington in Comox BC at Paradise Meadows.
