Kyle Hunter moved from San Diego to Thompson Falls, Montana, when he was just a kid. Growing up in the Treasure State, he traded the coast for the mountains, finding his home in the woods and his voice in the local music scene. You can hear that connection to the land in every note he plays—it’s honest, raw, and pure Montana.
For this session, we headed over to Red Lodge on a perfect fall afternoon. There’s something special about the way music sounds next to the rushing water of Rock Creek.
