Munich Céilí Band - at the Paddy’s Day Parade and After Parade Party 2018 on Wittelsbacherplatz, Munich on 11.3.2018.
Here is a selection of photos and films from the day.
Great Spring weather, great atmosphere all round, attendance around the same as last year; 20,000.
Many thanks go to: Johannes and Susanne Lanzendörfer who drove the MCB van and float with aplomb, cunning, great composure in the face of adversity and loads and loads of wit, fun and laughter, Paul Daly & www.kiliansirishpub.com who financed the van and float, Henning Janssen who stepped in as our frame drummer for the day, all the members of the MCB (Bandleaderene and parade backstage manager, Ms “Many Jobs” Alison Moffat; Hans & Marianne Dechant, Detlef Grabowski, Jim Klopfenstein, Isabella Jarczyk, Sue Bollans & Lord Rantapine aka Frank McLynn), Barbara Dillon, who did sterling work as always calling the dances for the Monster Céilí, Helen & Ernst Kreuz who drove us there with all the equipment, Daniela Ley for all the iPhone pictures, and all the good people (DIFlers and MINers) who worked tirelessly during the day to make the parade such a success.
