The Track Cycling World Championships in Chile witnessed an incredible performance by Great Britain's Josh Tarling and Josh Charlton. Tarling, the young sensation, claimed the men's points race title, accumulating an impressive 750 points over the 40km event. He outshone American Peter Moore to secure Britain's first gold. Charlton, just 22, followed suit, winning the individual pursuit and bringing home GB's first world title in this category since Bradley Wiggins' triumph in 2008.
Tarling's strategy was impeccable, securing early points and powering ahead to gain a lap. He dominated the race, winning gold with style. Charlton, who had previously won silver, upgraded to gold, finishing ahead of Denmark's Rasmus Pederson.
Joe Truman added to Britain's success with a bronze medal in the men's 1km time trial. Katie Archibald and the GB teams also contributed to the medal tally with silver and bronze performances.
