Chris Rackauckas is probably one of the most prolific Julia developers. He created the DifferentialEquations package while pursuing his PhD UC Irvine, which today comprises of an ecosystem of state of the art feature filled and high performance libraries. On top of that foundation he created a unique physics informed machine learning system that integrates domain models with AI techniques. This organization, SciML, has grown to become one of the hallmarks of the Julia programming language.
Yingbo Ma started contributing to DifferentialEquations.jl while in high school. Today, he's one of the core developers working on the SciML platform, and one of the leading individuals driving Julia-based efforts towards faster linear algebra kernels and stiff ODE solvers.
