The atmosphere is tense in the training yard with the impending arrival of the number one Matador, Il Primero. The bulls fear they aren't ready and need to train. The arrogant horses tease the bulls with their sense of superiority. Ferdinand is simply looking for a way out.
This version of the scene didn't make it all the way to the final cut.
