DIY Clay Covered Pens (Great Gift Idea)

Hey Slices!

I am already planing Christmas decor, but it seems like I always forget to get gifts for my friends! These DIY pens are a super cute stocking stuffer or small gift for anyone.

✂ You Will Need
-Pens (Round, Solid Colored Barrel)
-Oven Bake Clay
-Clay Cutter or Knife
-Pliers
-Wax Paper
-Tape
-Cutting Mat (Optional)


✂ Steps
1. Uncap your pens. Use pliers to pullout the ink.
2. Line your surface with a piece of wax paper. Tape it down.
3. Unwrap your clay.
4. Create any clay cane you would like.
5. Place you wet clay pieces around your pen. A bit of space between them is preferable.
6. Roll your pen between your palms. The clay will blend out to cover up any empty space.
7. Add your finishing touches. Cover the top of the pen, and cut off the extra clay at the bottom.
8. Bake your pens. I baked mine in a glass dish at 275 (Fahrenheit) for 15 minutes. Let them cool for 10 minutes.
9. Insert the ink back into the pens.
