Marriage Proposal

Описание: Trevar proposes to Sherry at Tre Kronor in Chicago to Train's "Marry Me." What's not seen:

Trevar started playing as Sherry walked in the door. When she saw Trevar playing the ukulele, she promptly turned around and walked out the door. After all, she just figured Trevar was being silly and trying to embarrass her with a romantic/obnoxious gesture. She promptly reentered the restaurant and hurried to her seat as if she could go unnoticed in the small establishment where everyone was paying attention to the spectacle.

Even then, Sherry wasn't completely sure what was going on. Although the two had spoken of marriage and even viewed rings together, Trevar assured her it would take some time for him to secure the funds for the ring. You might notice she barely looks at Trevar during the song as she is thoroughly embarrassed and still, Trevar would like to think, touched by his profession of love.

Of course, Trevar's intentions become quite obvious when he gets down on one knee. You might hear a gentleman in the cafe exclaim his surprise that a song that repeatedly says, "marry me," would end in a wedding proposal. You can also hear Sherry's continued surprise as she says something along the lines of, "Trevar Simmons, what are you doing?"

After grabbing for the wrong hand, Sherry thrusts her left hand towards Trevar. He slips the ring on the correct finger, but is afraid the ring is too small and leaves it halfway on her finger. If you watch closely, you can see her fix it. She made him put in on properly later.

Tre Kronor--a cute and tasty Swedish cafe in Chicago--gave the couple dessert on the house to celebrate (and they took very good care of Trevar as he nervously waited for Sherry to arrive) and the surprised gentleman who uttered, "OMG," paid for their lunch.
