Wine Storage: Easy Tips for Success (and peak inside my wine fridge!)

We have a special video for you today because The Wine Sisters' founder and chief sommelier, Erin Henderson, is not only giving you easy tips on how to store your wine collection, but she's taking you behind the scenes to show you her own wine fridge and storage! (don't judge... renovations are happening. At least we keep it real around here.)

This is Week 3 of our Back to Wine School series. This is maybe the most important video to keep your wine collection in top form. No matter if you are living in a compact condo or a sprawling mansion, we have tips for where you should store your wine for success!

Here's what you need to know about wine storage success:
1. Find a place that's dark
2. Find a place that's cool (not ice cold, just cool)
3. Find a place that's mostly quiet and undisturbed

If you don't have a fancy wine cellar (wow, that's weird) here are our tips for easy storage success:
1. A temperature controlled wine fridge is the easiest solution.
2. If that's not an option right now, set up some shelves in an unfinished basement (under the stairs or in that creepy corner no one goes to).
3. If you don't have a basement, well, a closet works in a pinch.
4. If closets are at a premium, consider renting storage space at a proper wine storage facility.
