In the latest developments concerning the allegations put forth by Devendra Fadnavis and Maharashtra BJP, the special public prosecutor has quit and his resignation has been accepted by the government. Additionally, the government has also ordered a CID probe into this matter. However, the BJP is quite unhappy with this decision of the MVA government as it had been demanding a CBI inquiry and is still pressing for the same. This is concerning the allegations put forth by the opposition BJP in Maharashtra which said that the MVA government is using its machinery to frame BJP leaders in fake cases.
