Showcasing my old melee assault build with 100% elemental defense.

Описание: This build was created before the introduction of the seasonal system and was intended for vanilla play without seasonal modifiers. Initially, it was a tank build with 100% hazard protection, which later evolved into a melee assault build. I'd like to point out right away that this build isn't specifically designed for Backfire, but for elemental protection. The main idea behind the build is to combine 100% hazard protection with the excellent exotic item for melee assault builds, Memento, to achieve an excellent balance of protection and damage output. Ignoring elemental effects introduces a number of new gameplay possibilities that may not be immediately obvious. Similar assault builds had a number of vulnerabilities in close combat, as they could be set on fire, foamed, and suddenly killed by an enemy. Shielders also struggled to play under the effects of EMP blasts, as well as against the special ammo of Black Tusks and Hyenas. Playing with this build, however, utilizes these vulnerabilities to their advantage. For example, they can destroy weak spots at close range or loot Memento trophies directly from burning areas, making gameplay more dynamic and allowing for more aggressive play. Thanks to the use of Backfire and increased critical damage, this build achieves very good damage output, more than sufficient for solo play, in a group, however, damage can be lacking. However, strong damage and rate of fire modifiers have been available in many seasons, completely eliminating this drawback. The chest talent was chosen as the most effective at optimal range and synergizes well with the Memento backpack, it could easily be replaced with another talent, such as Obliteration. The armor-to-weapon damage ratio in the build is optimal for this type of assault player, but there's nothing stopping you from adjusting the ratios as you see fit. Adding Elite Resistance stats is also always very useful when playing against Elite enemies in open combat, but at the cost of damage output. Backfire can also be replaced, for example, with Chameleon, since it can also significantly increase damage even on tank builds.
P.S. The video showed a rather strange playthrough: clearing squads never appeared at all the key points, whereas they were usually always present. However, they wouldn't have caused any problems, as long as you don't engage them in completely open areas.
