In a major development in the Kosmos Bar firing case, Bhubaneswar police have sealed the house of Rashmi Barik, the main accused, at Damana Chhak. A legal notice was also pasted at her residence. Authorities have warned that if she fails to surrender before the court tomorrow, her movable and immovable properties will be seized as per legal procedures.

Bhubaneswar DCP has further instructed all police station officials to compile lists of absconding and jail-returned habitual offenders, indicating a wider crackdown on repeat criminal elements.

The firing incident occurred on 10 May at Kosmos Bar, when shots were fired at a bouncer. Over a month has passed since the incident, but Rashmi Barik remains absconding, prompting urgent police action.
