This is my #1 reason why kids misbehave and disengage and that is attention. Some kids get too much attention and some kids don't get enough attention at home. Both kids can be a problem in school. You have to deal with these kids differently depending on what they need.
If you don't understand what the child needs then you can't help the child correct the unwanted behaviors.
