In this video, I break down how DSCR loans work specifically for 2–4 unit properties, why they’re often easier to qualify for than single-family rentals, and what lenders are really looking at when approving these deals.
DSCR loans are based on the property’s rental income, not your personal income. That means no job verification, no debt-to-income ratio, and no personal tax returns. For multi-unit properties, stronger rental income often makes it easier to hit the required DSCR ratio — even at lower down payments.
