Pidilite to absorb cost pressures; margins seen within 20–24% band: MD Sudhanshu Vats

Описание: Pidilite Industries will absorb part of the pressure from rising raw material costs but expects operating profit margins to remain within its 20–24 per cent target band, Managing Director Sudhanshu Vats said. He noted the company will take a balanced approach by passing on some cost increases to customers while absorbing the rest. Vats added that securing essential raw materials remains a key focus amid the ongoing Middle East conflict. While higher crude prices may have some impact, the company does not foresee a major hit to profitability and will continue to evaluate margins within its defined range.
