As simple as it gets and a replicant of the yesteryears. For the Frederick Avenue line, the CityLink PURPLE mirror its pre-predecessor in-regards to simple is better. Before BaltimoreLink 2017, the Route 10 was the epitome of the Greater Baltimore Bus Initiative's (or "GBBI") widespread issues that the parties involved instigated result in the need to restructure our bus network. In 2005, the Routes 2 and 10 operated in respective districts of Baltimore [no. 2 on westside; no. 10 on eastside] before their fateful combination into a single 20+ mile crosstown service via downtown, becoming the Route 2/10 (later Route 10). Obviously, prior to this, the Frederick Avenue Line was under the guise of Route 2. Believe it or not, the Route 2 had a predecessor to itself pre-1982, in the form of a streetcar; an infamous legacy line, known as the no. 8 [yes, the same #8 via Greenmount-York Road]. If there was one thing BaltimoreLink got right from the get-go was reinstituting the old Route 2 rather it was by default or coincidence.
As you'll see in the video, this line is a hassle and gets crowded pretty damn quick. Luckily, I had an articulated bus on-hand to leave no stone left unturn -- or left in the cold -- continue a legacy of what I've always witnessed way back when I was kid of NABI artics weaseling their way through the tight streets of Yale Heights where my grandmother resided what seemed like every five minutes.
