On Thursday, June 25, 2020 Birthright Israel Foundation had the pleasure of sitting down with Josh Demby. Josh is an alumnus of Birthright Israel's LGBTQ+ trips and a Birthright Israel Foundation Ambassador. Through our Q&A, Josh shared how this trip transformed his life, the importance of #LGBTQ+ Birthright Israel trips, and how his experience helped him see he could identify as both a #Jewish man and a member of the LBGTQ+ community.
In the last few years, because of the support of our donors, there have been 45 Birthright Israel groups dedicated to experiencing Israel's LGBTQ+ culture. More so, over 480 participants attended the annual Tel Aviv Pride Parade. #BirthrightIsrael LGBTQ+ trips are part of our larger offering of niche trips that your generosity makes possible - helping to ensure there is a Birthright Israel experience for everyone and that no Jew is left behind.
