Jaw-dropping 1965 Fiat Abarth 2000 Monoposto World Record revving the engine and racing around the snow covered frozen lake with "peers" as part of THE ICE St. Moritz 2023.
Towards the end of 1965, Carlo Abarth himself climbed into the cockpit of this tiny monoposto to break eight international and two world records on the fast Monza circuit. To prepare for the race, Abarth put himself on a tough diet and lost 30 kilos to be able to squeeze into the narrow cockpit and which ultimately paid off!
The video shows two more iconic race cars: a white Maserati 420M/58 "Eldorado Special" and a red Maserati 250 F.
