To get the pregnancy event, you need to have the two story house upgrade (last upgrade). If you have the upgrade, you will need to wait 15, 20, or 30 days after your wedding for the event to trigger. The wait time depends on your wedding plan (15 for Luxury, 20 for Deluxe, 30 for Simple).
If you don't have the house upgrade: I think the event will trigger the day after you do upgrade, assuming the 15-30 days have already passed.
The event may be delayed a day if it falls on a festival.
The pregnancy itself will last 30 days.
