Battle of the Bands in Ben Wheeler Texas. We were happy to be a sponsor of this even with some help from D'Addario & Co. Four bands performed for the judges and were all great! I'm glad I didn't have to judge! First up was Apache Blue, followed by Sewerville. Next played The Kid Icarus Project, and HR & The Service Reps finished it off. At the end of the show the judges asked a few members of each band to come up and do a Jam together before the winner was announced! They killed it! Some fantastic Texas Blues Rock, Alternative grunge ala Nirvana. Great Texas Country/folk/bluegrass and some epic hard Delta blues.
All in all a great Day!
