The Bible makes it clear that the Spies ‘came into an harlot’s house’ (Jos 2:2). And also the Bible makes it clear that the harlot’s house became the house of salvation! The Bible says, “When we invade your land, tie this red cord in the window through which you let us down. ALSO, GATHER YOUR FATHER, MOTHER, BROTHERS, AND ALL YOUR FATHER'S FAMILY INTO YOUR HOUSE. WHOEVER LEAVES YOUR HOUSE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN LIFE. We will be free from that responsibility. But we will take responsibility if anyone inside your house is harmed.”(Joshua 2:18-19 GW).
The question is why? Its because of the RED CORD which symbolize BLOOD –The Bible says, “But the blood on your houses will be a sign for your protection. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. Nothing will touch or destroy you when I strike Egypt.”(Exodus 12:13 GW). Whose Blood? Christ’s Blood, the Bible says, “Through the blood of His Son, we are set free from our sins. God forgives our failures because of His overflowing kindness.”(Ephesians 1:7 GW). An harlot’s house that was stained by the Blood of Christ!

Dear Brothers and Sisters, the RED CORD can not miraculously appear on the HARLOT’S house. The Bible says, “When we invade your land, TIE this RED CORD in THE WINDOW through which you let us down.” (Jos 2:18). There are specific instructions that she has to OBEY, remember the Bible says, “A body that doesn't breathe is dead. In the same way faith that does nothing is dead.”(James 2:26 GW).
In 17th century a Puritans Preacher by the name of Thomas Brooks make this profound statement, "FAITH IS THE HAND THAT TAKES HOLD OF THE PROMISE" If faith is like a HAND that takes hold of the promise, is our hands MASCULAR? The Bible says, “So faith comes from hearing the message, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke.”(Romans 10:17 GW).

Dear Jesus, my house is a sinful house, but I am tying the RED COD from my window, pass me not oh gentle Saviour. In Jesus’s name I pray. Amen.
