Proline HYRAX (Predator compound) Is it a good Winter Tire? | Vanquish H10 Optic

Описание: In this video i test if the Proline Hyrax is a good winter tyre.
The tire is not new but well known amongst the crawler comunity.
It does not look very scale but is still considered one of the better tires for crawling.
My set is made from the softer predator compound.
The inserts are soft as well.
This makes the tyre conform to the ground very good and gives a relatively large footprint which helps to spread the cars weight over a larger area.
On loose ground this can make the diffrence between sinking in or staying on the surface.
Overall the tyre worked very well and provided a good ammount of traction.
On loose powdery snow the car would still sink in but that is mainly due to the fact that the snow wasn´t compacted at all and just couldn´t carry any weight.
I did not find any exposed sufaces like rocks or dirt so i can´t say how the tire would handle this on the H10.
But i used them on my TRX4 Bronco in the past and the tires where never the limiting factor.
For this one limited test on the H10 i can say the tyres worked as well as you can expect for the circumstances.
I hope this test could provide some insights or was at least a bit entertaining.
