N.Y.C. LEGEND was created by Alexander Klingspor, 2021-2023.
The sculpture was financed by Mollbrinks Gallery, Sweden, and cast by the amazing team in Perseo Foundry, Switzerland.
It is exhibited in Union Square from October 2023 - October 2024 via NYC Parks, Art in the Parks Program in collaboration with Union Square Partnership.
New York City Legend, was unveiled on October 17, 2023 on East 14th Street at Union Square's Triangle Park. On site were, among others, Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden and Consul General Camilla Mellander.
