VW Mk4 Golf 1.8T racing on the Snetterton 300 circuit. The car is relatively new to me and I have not raced on the 300 layout before. After fuel pump and overheating issues final sorted and two failed attempts to go racing we finally managed two races without any dramas.
The car is for some reason slow in a straight line so we need to find the issue and resolve it for next year. The gearbox is also very clunky and not much fun to use so that is another job for the winter along with a softer set up as the car is far too stiff.
All in all a good days racing and lots learnt for next time.
