Rejoice, my Soul-Clive Titmuss lute Susan Adams harpsichord

Описание: Our very best wishes for a happy holiday and new year! Many viewers will be familiar with Johann Pachelbel's Canon. Here is a beautifully crafted set of variations which he wrote on the Chorale, Freu dich sehr, O meine Seele, adapted by Clive and Susan for lute and harpsichord. Clive is playing the yew wood bass lute which he built in 1991, and which was the inspiration for the story, "A Lute for Christmas". The harpsichord was built by Johannes Secker (1939-2023) in 1983, modelled on an anonymous Italian instrument from 1694.
