Colossians 2:16-17 is a common target of Hebrew Roots Movement teachers because the plain reading of it indicates that the commandments in the Law of Moses are no longer required. So HRM teachers offer non-traditional interpretations of the passage that try to harmonize it with their Torah-observant theology. In this video, I put one of those teachings from 119 Ministries to the test and show why and how it doesn’t hold up.
