Simple Recipe for Pho Ga (Chicken Pho):

Using a big pot, fill with water. Depending on the size of your chicken, do your best to have enough water and space for the onions, ginger and mixing and moving the chicken around.

Note: It will be easier to visit a local Asian market for ingredients

1 Whole chicken
2 Big whole onion ( one to boil with chicken, one raw and sliced as a topping)
2 ginger medium size pieces
1 Packet of mixed spices for pho
1-2 bundles of green onions
1/4 lbs of fresh basil
1 Bundle of cilantro
2-3 limes

Toppings to add to the bowl once you’re ready to eat

Salt, pepper, fresh green onions, raw onions, basil, limes, red chili sauce, hoisin sauce, sriracha

3-4 pieces of rock sugar and 5 teaspoons of salt in the soup pot - You can find rock sugar at most grocery stores. Add the rock sugar and salt while the chicken begins to boil.
