If you haven't watched, "Base Part 1.5 Trouble shooting, it will be helpful to do that first!
After you are finished with row 65, identify the "true sides", cut, and tie off your work.
Tie a new string at the corner of the side.
Row 66: Ch 1, sc across to the other side. Turn.
Row 67: Ch1, (sc, hdc) into next stitch. Skip two stitches. (sc, hdc, dc, skip 2 stitches) repeat this until last last stitch. (sc, hdc) into last stitch. Turn.
Rows 68-73: Repeat rows 66 and 67. (You will end with row 67). Cut and tie off work.
Use the crocheted base to measure and cut 2 pieces of 1" foam.

You will need a hot glue gun to secure the pieces together.
Make sure that your work is on the side you want your stitches showing, and insert the foam.
Then stitch up the end flap to the base, and smooth out the corners.
