Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke says he's "humble and emotional" after signing a four-year extension to his contract with the newly-promoted English Premier League side Norwich City.
Farke has been at the east of England club since moving from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 and is the first manager in the club's history to come from outside of the British Isles.
He led the Canaries to the English Premier League in his second season in charge. But after an encouraging start to their 2019-20 top flight campaign – which included a 3-2 defeat of Manchester City - the Carrow Road side finished bottom of the table, 14 points from safety, and were relegated back to the EFL Championship.
The 44-year-old led his team back to the English football's top tier at the first time of asking, winning last season's Championship with 97 points.
