Another shop, Panesar Food and Wine, was also vandalised with fruit and vegetable crates thrown onto the street. The attacks took place in the Wembley area of London and have raised serious safety concerns among the Indian diaspora. Conservative MP Bob Blackman also flagged a related incident during Holi celebrations in nearby Harrow. Local authorities such as Brent Council have condemned the violence and urged witnesses to help identify the attackers.
