UPDATE:
(6/4/2021 6:26 PM EDT) NWS Binghamton confirmed an EF1 tornado in Lee, NY that was on the ground for 1.2 miles at the time we were witnessing the storm.
(6/4/2021 2:24 PM EDT) NWS Binghamton confirmed a tornado in Lee, NY. Details to come later tonight.
The team chased central NY on the afternoon of June 3rd, 2021 after forecasting a isolated area the looked to be prime for a tornado. At around 3:30 PM EDT, the team witnessed a tornado near Lee, NY. This video documents the chase.
