INTRODUCTION.
Would you rather get to know today what will happen to you tomorrow?or are you willing to trust the lord with your uncertain future? i point you to the sovereign God who you can afford to trust because all his plans is building his church, are you members of his church?
1.Preaching.
-Paul and Barnabas moved to Iconium and spoke (Preached)
-Message of salvation and many believed
cf Acts 20:21;James 2:17;Hebrews 2:4; Galatians 3:5
2.Division(vv.4-5)
-Preaching led to division ,clashes, insults and need for escape.
3.Escape (vv.6-7)
-Escape from danger was Paul's regular experience.
From Damascus (acts9:25;2Corinthians 11:33)
Caesarea then to Tarsus
LESSONS
1.God's agenda of building church his church is on course
2.Preaching is the primary means of God saving those who believe .
3.Those who seek to obey the gospel will be persecuted.
