Spinning combed dogbane line fibers

Описание: The experiments continue! Here's my experience spinning the line fibers from dogbane (Apocynum cannabinum ) on my homemade Turkish drop spindle. I tried spinning both wet and dry and saw little difference.

I'm not as crazy about this technique. I didn't have as good of luck with preparation, though I do love how soft the prepared fibers get. maybe I'll need to revisit this and not completely write it off.

Would love any insight, thoughts, and experiences from anyone else that might have been spinning dogbane line fibers!
