Cboyardee and Tale's of Games studios' fan made sequel to the Genesis game Barkley Shut up and Jam, Barkley: Shut Up and Jam Gaiden, surprisingly wound up being one of the greatest fan made games of all time. Its success led to a highly successful Kickstarter campaign for a sequel, Barkley 2. However, although there have been updates since 2012, there has been no actual game released in over 7 years. In late June, posts from the somethingawful forums emerged indicating that the game might never come out, although what remains of Tale's of Games studios claims to still be working on it.
