Lilo & Stitch (85 min)
Synopsis: Lilo lives with her older sister, Nani on the lush and tropical Hawaiian Islands. Longing for a friend, Lilo adopts what she thinks is a dog and names him Stitch. But Stitch is actually a dangerous genetic experiment gone awry who has escaped from an alien planet. Realizing that his attempts to flee the island are futile, Stitch takes Hawaii by storm, wreaking havoc and hanging ten on a “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride.” Meanwhile, the Grand Councilwoman from Stitch’s home planet dispatches Stitch’s creator – the evil Dr. Jumba – and Earth expert Pleakley to recapture him. While Stitch endeavors to evade his pursuers, Lilo’s unwavering faith in “ohana,” the Hawaiian tradition of family, has an unexpected impact on the heart of her alien pal.
