British Airways A319 G-EUPJ BEA retro livery departing Aberdeen Airport on 23rd March 2019.
Early in 2019 British Airways painted 4 aircraft in a special retro livery to celebrate their centenary. 3 of the aircraft were Boeing B747-400s painted in the BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corporation) livery, the Negus livery (used 1974 - 1984) and the Landor livery (used 1984 - 1997). The fourth livery is the aircraft in this video, an Airbus A319 in the BEA livery (British European Airways). Unfortunately British Airways retired their remaining 747s (including the 3 retros) in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic, leaving the BEA as their only retro aircraft in service. The 3 retro 747s and an additional 747 in the standard British Airways livery are being preserved at locations across England for future generations to see and explore
