Dr. C. Sylendra Babu expressed his pleasure to be a part of the 19th edition of the Bridge Event and thanked Mr. Sivakumar, the CEO - ICT Academy of Tamil Nadu profusely for the wonderful opportunity given to be a part of the conference.
Dr. C. Sylendra Babu stated that there are plenty of opportunities available in all the industries but it is the lack of basic employability skills which is a huge barrier for the graduates to be industry ready. He also stated that basic skills such as the communication skill, comprehending skill, innovative thinking, imagination, creativity are lacking and the educational institutions should focus on these skills and produce quality employable students. He also mentioned that right skills, updated information about the subject and the ability to be a continuous learner are the skills expected by the industry.
Dr. C. Sylendra Babu concluded by urging the huge eminent gathering of academicians to enlighten the students about the stiff global competition, and on how to face it in the long run.
