Ahem. After a bit of a hiatus (understatement) here's my latest vlog. It's running a little longer than usual, so be good to get your thoughts on it...
In this episode, I focus on 3 things:
1: WHAT WE'VE LEARNT.
2: WHAT WE'VE DONE.
3: WHAT WE'RE DOING.
1: Documenting is hard. So I got help.
Plus we have a responsibility to ensure young people have hope... and it's up to us NOT TO CRUSH IT.
2: I cover ThinkNation's work with young people in NYC and Columbia Global Centers where they created 4 HUGE questions around Artificial Intelligence Ethics, tech and the environment, tech and the brain and privacy and surveillance. Outcome? MIND. BLOWN. (More NYC efforts in future blogs/vlogs).
I also cover the talk I gave at Wired Sussex's TalentFest in Brighton. I explored the 'jigsaw career': young people are not going into the same workplace as previous generations, so are we preparing them for this reality!?
3: Finally, I highlight launch of Project Twist-It. Driven by Mary O'Hara and supported by Joseph Rowntree Foundation, we're working with young people from across UK to tackle the poverty narrative, empowering them to share stories and ideas on how we can change the poverty stigma.
