Описание: From 1983 to 1985 there was a devastating famine in Ethiopia. Up to a million people died in the disaster, on that time Michael Buerk, a BBC News reporter reported from KOREM and prompted a huge international response, including the Live Aid concert in aid of victims. Many global charities responded to the crisis, among them World Vision. Now the city (Korem) looks different.


በ1977 በኢትዮጵያ በነበረው ረሃብና ሚልዮኖች ህይወታቸውን አጥተዋል፡፡ በወቅቱ ማይክል በርክ የተባለ የቢቢሲ ዘጋቢ ኮረም ተገኝቶ ጉዳዩን ለዓለም ህዝብ አሳይቷል፡፡ ዎርልድ ቪዥንን ጨምሮ በርካቶች የተሳተፉበት የድጋፍ መርሃ ግብርም ተደርጓል፡፡ እነ ማይክል ጃክሰን የተሳተፉበት ‹‹ዊ አር ዘ ወርልድ›› የተሰኘው ሙዚቃም ሰርተዋል፡፡
አሁን የኮረም ገፅታ ተለውጦ ይህን መስላለች፡፡
