Tales of Phantasia #56 - Pluto in the Depths of Moria Mines - (No Commentary)

Описание: To obtain Klarth’s last summon, you need the Emerald Pact Ring from the Cave of Darkness. Once you have it, go all the way back down to the Moria Mine and the Dwarven Ruins. Yes, you must go all the way back down there. The good news is that it will be much faster this time because you do not need to look for treasures, you can use the Scout Orb to decrease the encounter rates, and you already have all three lamp items.
Before returning to Moria, trade your Ivory for Mahjong Tiles at the Aegis' shop because these items are very helpful for the boss. Also, make sure you have a few Hourglasses or Chrono's Hourglasses.
A good team is Cless, Chester, Suzu, and Mint. Give Cless a Black Onyx if he is not at max HP and Persian Boots or another good accessory. Give Mint a Mystic Symbol and a Black Onyx. Give Chester and Suzu as many Black Onyx accessories as possible, at least one if not two, plus another good accessory. The Black Onyx items help increase HP so the party can survive the heavy damage from the boss.
When you are ready, go all the way down to B21F. Return to the room with the miasma near the bridge. If you go down, a short scene will start. After that, you will fight the Lord of the Demonic Realms, Pluto, and his pet Cerberus. This is one of the toughest boss fights in the game
At the start of the battle, Cerberus is on the left and Pluto is on the right. Pluto is large and several flames always surround him, which makes it very hard to get close or keep him locked in combos. He also uses a flame attack that shoots about 10 to 20 fireballs that follow the party. When Pluto raises his arms, shadowy hands come out of the ground and hit the whole party. He can also cast Earthquake and Black Hole very quickly. If you manage to corner him, he can teleport to another part of the screen and bring his flames with him. While dealing with all this, Cerberus will keep attacking your support characters from behind.
Cerberus is weak to Time Stop, so use this to your advantage while fighting Pluto. Try your best to stop Pluto from acting. If you see that he is about to attack and no one can damage him in time, use a Mahjong Tile to interrupt him. After Pluto is defeated, Cerberus should fall soon after.
After the battle, Klarth will be able to summon Pluto, his ultimate summon, and gain a title if you have collected all his other summons. Pluto is a very strong summon, using his flame attack to hit enemies 20 to 30 times or more for about 250 damage each hit.

Tales of Phantasia (テイルズ オブ ファンタジア) is a real-time action RPG developed by Wolf Team and published by Namco for the Super Famicom. It is the first game in the long-running Tales series originally released only in Japan in December 1995. For its time, it was a very advanced game thanks to Hiroya Hatsushiba’s “Flexible Voice Driver,” which allowed impressive voice acting and a fully voiced opening song, Yume wa Owaranai by Yoshida Yukari. The character designs by Kōsuke Fujishima gave it a distinct anime look, and it introduced the Linear Motion Battle System used throughout the series.
