Start her up and the initial bark of the big V8 settles into a throbbing 800 rpm idle... What makes the VZ HSV V8 most desireable is the upgrade to the 6.0L LS2 over the previous 5.7L LS1. At HSV they went one better increasing the Clubsport and Maloo's power to 297kW over the quoted 260 kW in the Holden SS's.
