Heavy duty rollover up close and personal

Описание: Three rotators upright a tractor trailer loaded with a 50,000lb machine that rolled over HARD!

Dave and my father were first on scene in their rotators, joined by myself in my 50ton rotator, Hulk, about 30 minutes later. The locks holding the trailer to the chassis came off almost completely, so our first step was to remove the remaining ones and split the tractor and chassis. Once split, the tractor and chassis were uprighted and towed out of the way.

Now that we had plenty of room to work with, we could focus on the best plan to get the machine and trailer upright in one piece. With help from our 32ton high pressure air matts, Dave gets enough lift under the trailer so we can feed our straps underneath. We went with straps over chain to prevent further damage to the machine. Big Flipper is our 75ton rotator and did 100% of the machine lifting off the side, while the two other rotators were used to lift and catch the trailer.

The labor was intensive, but the overall job was incredibly controlled and smooth as all our rollover recoveries are. Every line was calculated to be within the safe working load limit and the customer was able to drive back to his base a couple of miles away after we set it onto his new trailer.

All footage was shot with my GoPro Hero 7 Black using a chest mount and edited in Adobe Premiere.
