Описание: In 1991, the Reading and Northern RR purchased the ex-Reading / ex-Conrail "Reading Cluster" of rail lines north of Reading, PA. This included the ex-main line to Pottsville, the Little Schuylkill, the Mahanoy and Shamokin to Mt. Carmel Jct and a few branch lines. The lines were in poor physical condition and over the next 30 years the R&N brought them up to much better condition and even returned CTC signalling! #2102 pulled a number of passenger excursions from Leesport to Pottsville, Tamaqua and Schuylkill Haven in 1991. Trips to Jim Thorpe were in the future at this time due to no connection with the ex-CNJ line ending at Haucks.
