These examples include both numeric and string comparisons. He further shows you how to create compound statements using multiple operators. He then describes how you can use comparison operators not only in scripts but also when filtering PowerShell commands by using the Where Object clause. He shows you how this can help you whittle down output from the commands to just the information that you need. He also provides plenty of examples of doing this.
