It is used for making Asian sweets. You can use it as a filling for dorayaki, taiyaki, mochi,
daifuku, and so on.

✨Full Written Recipe✨
200 grams Adzuki beans
150 grams brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
water
1. First, wash adzuki beans. Soak them overnight, so that they will cook faster.
2. Drain the soaking water, and put adzuki beans in a pot.
3. Add plenty of water to cover the beans. Boil for five minutes, and then drain the water.
4. Put the beans back in the pot, and add plenty of water.
5. Bring to a boil, and simmer for one to two hours. If needed, add more water to keep the beans submerged.
6. After one hour check the beans. If they are soft and break easily, it's ready.
7. Drain excess water. Add sugar, and mix well.
8. Add salt. Stir frequently, and continue cooking until the mixture has thickened.
9. Remove from heat when you can draw a line on the bottom of the pot. It's okay if it is a little liquid. The paste will thicken as it cools.
10. Refrigerate in an airtight container for a week, or freeze for a month.
