Highlighting Andhra Pradesh’s Quantum Valley initiative, the chief minister said the project would drive the next phase of India’s technology revolution, positioning the country as a hardware manufacturing hub alongside its software and services strength. Calling quantum computing the “mother of all technologies”, Naidu said India is among a handful of countries taking the lead in this space.

Naidu also spoke about large-scale AI adoption, real-time data use, and wealth creation through technology to support welfare programmes, citing Andhra Pradesh’s strong talent pool and the global presence of Indian. particularly Telugu, professionals in the tech sector.

On fiscal federalism, the Telugu Desam Party president said better-performing states often lose out in tax devolution due to parameters such as population and backwardness, but stressed that all regions must grow together for India to prosper.

He also addressed shifting population trends, advocating “population management” amid ageing demographics, spoke about transforming agriculture into a demand-driven sector with a focus on nutrition, and underscored the need for strategic river linking to conserve water and balance regional resources.

Ruling out any future role in central politics, Naidu said his focus remains firmly on Andhra Pradesh, adding that building long-term development models at the state level is his priority.
