Odisha Budget 2026-27: Three New Economic Clusters to Be Created Like Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Model

In the Odisha Budget 2026-27 presented on February 20, 2026, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi announced the creation of three major economic clusters to drive balanced regional development across the state. Inspired by the successful Bhubaneswar-Cuttack-Puri-Paradip Economic Region (BCPPER), which has been designated as one of India's City Economic Regions (CER) in the Union Budget with ₹5,000 crore central support, the government plans to establish two additional clusters.
